Eotriceratops was a herbivore (plant-eater) that lived in the late
Cretaceous period,
about 68 million years ago,
Its fossils
were found in the Horseshoe Canyon Formation near
Edmonton
in
Canada.
At the time of writing, Eotriceratops is known only from its skull, which was about 10 feet (3 meters) long.
Estimates of the overall size of the animal vary from about 30 to 40 feet (9 to 12.2 meters).
