Nomingia
Nomingia was an ominovorous dinosaur that lived in
Mongolia during the late
Cretaceous period,
about 70 to 65 million years ago. It was found in a region of
Mongolia known
as the Nomingiin Gobi, to which its name refers.
Nomingia was about 5 feet (1.6 meters) long.
Physically, Nomingia, like many of its relatives such
(Caudipteryx,
Oviraptor and
Protarchaeopteryx) seems to have been quite bird-like.
It was probably covered with feathers, and its tail had a
pygostyle-like mass (like that of Caudipteryx),
and so is thought to have had a fan of feathers at its tail.

Nomingia was an omnivore (ate meat and plants) that lived from 70 to 65 million years ago
